Vesica Piscis

A mathematical shape formed by the intersection of two disks. The area is formed by two equilateral triangles and four circles. It symbolizes the interface between the spiritual and the physical world, and resembles the fish symbol used by Christians.

It has also been described as a representation of the vulva, and thus linked to femininity and fertility. The Flower of Life, a symbol of sacred geometry, is based upon this principle.
