Joseph of Arimathea
Jesus’ uncle or great uncle on his maternal side. He assumed responsibility for the burial of Jesus. As a very rich merchant traveling the Mediterranean Sea on his boat, his route included Alexandria in Egypt and several cities in what is today the south of France and ended in Narbo.
He used to cross the Pyrenees with his men and continue to the British Isles. He founded the Church of England and is linked to the legend of the Holy Grail.
